Doug is a native South Carolinian. Originally from Charleston, his family moved to the Columbia area when he was an infant. He graduated from Airport High School and began to work full time with the family business. Along the way Doug has found continued education to be a key component in his development as a professional by attending Midlands Technical College, Indiana University, University Of Whales, The Disney Institute, American Management Association, and Qualpro Quality Process Control/ Statistical Process Control. Doug has over 27 years of Sales and Negotiation experience as a top producer and leader for companies like Caterpillar, Mobil Oil, Pepsi-Cola, Southeastern Freight Lines and Scana.

Doug and his wife Susan have been happily married for over 23 years. They have four children, all living in Lexington. Their youngest daughter is a part of the Special Needs community which has given them the opportunity to help families with a distinct perspective. They are also partners with The Harvest Church, located on Hwy 378, in Lexington. Doug enjoys playing the bass guitar on the Worship Team.

Doug has proven to be a consistent producer in real estate by receiving numerous sales awards such as the Rising Star Award, President’s Club, Chairman's Club, Circle of Excellence, Company-wide Top Producer, and Top Listing Agent. As with his business experience, Doug has learned the value of continued education in real estate. He continues to keep his clients abreast of the most current market situations by being a Senior Real Estate Specialist, SRES certified. Doug is a member of  local, state, and national Boards of Realtors. He is a Realtor® and a Broker. Doug is a consummate professional that has a passion for learning and developing his skills personally and professionally in order to serve others with excellence
